Recent progress in PHOTOACOUSTICs (PA) drives the need high pulse energy at kHz rep rate lasers in a variety of different wavelength ranges. Photonics Industries, the pioneer of intracavity solid-state harmonic lasers, has developed lasers with wavelengths from the MIR (up to 3.4um) to the Vacuum UV (VUV) (as short as ~193nm) at high pulse energies and at kHz rep rates for emerging Photoacoustic & other Biophotonic applications.

• Blood Window (tunable 700nm to 900nm) for deep penetration PA apps that operate in the blood window such as high-speed photoacoustic tomography for neuroscience health imaging research.

• Visible (500nm to 667nm) for strong blood absorption applications or surface based PA such as PA microcopy where no deep penetration is required.
